You are invited to join in the celebration as we honor Michael S. Hinson, Jr. for his years of dedication and service to Philadelphia’s LGBT communities. Michael Hinson has served in Mayor Street’s office as his liaison to the LGBT community for 8 years. Prior to that he served as the founder and executive director of The COLOURS Organization, the cities only community based organization dedicated to serving Black LGBT’s. Michael has also co-founded several other organizations, including the BGMLC and has fought tirelessly over the years on behalf of services and legislation to improve the lives of Philadelphia’s LGBT citizens.

**On Saturday January 12, 2008 at First District Plaza (3801 Market St), 5pm** we will celebrate the immeasurable contributions Michael has made to this community. The event will include:

A film clip of Michael’s career
A performance by Smoke, Lilies and Jade
