Who Will Be Philadelphia’s Next Mayor?

As you all may know, on May 15th, Michael Nutter won the Democratic primary election. His main opponent in the November election will be the Republican candidate Al Taubenberger who you can find more information on by visiting here.

If you aren’t aware of Mr. Nutter’s platform, you can visit his website

If you would like to learn more about what Michael Nutter’s plan is to address issues in the LGBT community specifically click here to view his policy statement. Unfortunately Al Taubenberger doesn’t have a document that specifically addresses the LGBT community that we are aware of.

It’s a rather interesting question actually…During the primary election the station covering it made it seem as if it were the November election. I hadn’t followed the election up until that point very much
but I was/am aware that Philadelphia is largely Democratic city and a Republican mayor has not been elected in over 50 years, so the assumption Nutter will be mayor is valid I guess but you never know. I don’t know much about the guy but considering the margin by which he one the primary its probably going to happen.
