On Tuesday November 6, 2007, the city of Philadelphia held it’s public office elections, in which a new mayor was elected. As most know by now, Michael Nutter beat out his other two opponents, Republican Al Tabenberger and John Staggs (72%, 17%, <1% respectively).

City Council members were elected as follows:

1st District- Frank DiCicco
2nd District- Anna C. Verna
3rd District- Jannie Blackwell
4th District- Curtis Jones
5th District- Darell Clarke
6th District- Joan Krajewski
7th District- Maria Quinones Sanchez
8th District- Donna Reed Miller
9th District- Marian B. Tasco
10th District- Brian J. O’Neill
