Latino Gay Pride and Philly Pride

There is a weekend full of festivities, including the first annual Latino Pride Festival:

Latino Pride Festival
On Saturday June 7th, the 1st annual Latino Pride festival will take place in N Philly at 5th & Jefferson Sts, 2p-8p. 2008 continues to be an exciting time for LGBT communities of color with groundbreaking events that diversify the choices we have for our communities. The event will feature a full day of festivities and games. There will be a number of live performances including: La Familia Rojas, Saboricua, Javier Quinones and more. This event is FREE and open to everyone who wants to celebrate Latino Pride. This is a children friendly event.

Philadelphia Gay Pride Celebration
On Sunday June 8th, Philly Pride Presents will be having the annual LGBT Pride parade and festival at Penn’s Landing. The parade starts at 12pm on Sunday at 13th and Locust and proceeds to the Great Plaza at Penn’s Landing where the party goes on until 6pm.
