Christopher Blandford 1955-2008
The passing of Chris Blandford had left me sad and happy. I will miss his wit, smile and humor and all that he did for me in his life. Chris was a true friend and ally in many ways, and he will be sorely missed. I am happy that he has gone home with his mother who he was missing dearly after her passing a couple of years ago. Chris was also not well and his health had deteriorated rapidly over the last several months. Chris worked as a volunteer for a variety of organizations including Philadelphia Fight, Adodi and MACT as well as the William Way Community Center. Chris enjoyed Photography and produced a variety of pieces featuring the Black Male Nude. Please take a moment to pray for his soul in heaven and try to live each day as he did- with hope, promise and joy.
Services are set for Saturday 2/9/08 at Christ of Calvery Church 61st & Larchwood Ave in Philadelphia, Viewing is from 9:00AM-10:00AM , Service is at 10:00 with the Rev. Rodney Rogers, Funeral burial is private.

I offer prayers of gratitude and love for having known the Soul who was known as Christopher Blandford. He was my Adodi brother and my friend.
May he join the Light.
Peace Be Upon Him Forever.
Let us be comforted with the memories of his life, his pleasant sweet spirit will always be apart of us.
It is with peace and sadness I enter this note. Christopher was one of my original big fans. A memory I will forever cherish. His gentle,calm, giving mannerism will always be a part of my heart and memories.May he be in eteranal peace.
